About CureDuchenne Cares
CureDuchenne Cares is an interactive education and outreach program designed to provide the community with information, resources and best practices for managing the challenges of Duchenne to help improve overall quality of life.
Offering both virtual and in-person events, CureDuchenne Cares addresses a variety of topics to help individuals living with Duchenne, their families and caregivers navigate the Duchenne journey. Free and open to everyone, CureDuchenne Cares events seek to educate, empower, support and improve connections within the Duchenne community.
CureDuchenne Cares hosts virtual community events and webinars throughout the year. Community events are a great way to connect in a casual and “safe” environment with other families who are on a similar journey. Webinars are fantastic educational opportunities featuring experts and specialists in the Duchenne community. Event pre-registration includes an opportunity to submit questions for Q&A sessions that accompany each presentation.
These one-day events provide an immersive education experience, where clinicians and experts share their wealth of Duchenne knowledge as well as advancements in the field.
Caregivers learn about physical therapy, get valuable updates about clinical trials and learn about best practices in Duchenne care.
Sessions are informative two-hour events open to Duchenne patients and caregivers. The events focus on disease management, address various topics including best standards of care, and provide an opportunity for insightful discussions with clinicians and experts on topics not typically covered during clinic visits. Sessions are available to the Duchenne community at no cost.
