2021 World Muscle Society Virtual Congress Kicks Off Today!

It’s that time of year again, when neuromuscular disease researchers clear their calendars for the Annual International Congress of the World Muscle Society (WMS), the largest conference focused solely on neuromuscular disease.  Since the world is still experiencing a pandemic, WMS 2021 will again be held virtually, as it was last year.  

While the CureDuchenne team certainly will miss catching up in person with colleagues and friends from around the world, everyone’s 1 ½ year experiences with online conferences means that we’ve become quite adept at getting the most out of the virtual conference experience. 

We’re looking forward to hearing the latest developments in Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophy, and passing along updates to all of you.  So watch this space for more WMS 2021 posts throughout the week.
