Welcome Tiffany Cook, Family Resource Manager
CureDuchenne is proud to announce and welcome Tiffany Cook as its new Family Resource Manager. She, along with the CureDuchenne team, will be enhancing and presenting family education materials and investigating new ways to help families work with schools, insurance companies, clinicians, and other means of improving the lives of those families living with Duchenne. Tiffany will also be developing and leading fundraising efforts in the southern region of the United States.
Tiffany brings with her personal experience navigating the path of Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Her son, Wil, currently 17 years old, was diagnosed with Duchenne at the age of 7. She has been an active advocate, volunteer, and mentor among the Duchenne community. Professionally, Tiffany holds more than 20 years of experience as a school based Speech-Language Pathologist. Her tenure in the schools range from South Florida to Southern California and most recently, North Texas.
Tiffany holds a MS in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University, Ft. Lauderdale and a BA in Communicative Disorders from The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa.
