Stay calm and take a deep breath! 

For those with Duchenne, maintaining respiratory strength and health contributes to health-related quality of life and some assessment and treatment is within our scope of practice as therapists.  This webinar will be presented by a physiotherapist who has studied this extensively and has a passion to teach it to others.  Anri Human, PT will be able to discuss assessment techniques and preventative strategies such as lung volume recruitment and cough augmentation and other techniques that are within clinical practice guidelines.  There will also be discussion of more recent research and advances in the clinical techniques that we all could incorporate into our practice.
