Bio: Dr. Darmahkasih is a second-year resident at the UC-Irvine/Children’s Hospital of Orange County Pediatric Residency Program. His interest in Duchenne muscular dystrophy stemmed from working with Dr. Brenda Wong during his time as a medical student, participating in several research studies with Duchenne patients, including evaluating the natural history of pulmonary function in steroid-treated Duchenne patients and the neurodevelopmental features of patients with DMD.
