Prior to this role, Dr. Werner was Senior Director, Medical Affairs, D-A-CH, and Executive Director, Medical Affairs – Europe and Northern Europe at PTC Therapeutics, Frankfurt holding positions from 2016. Dr. Werner was previously Senior Medical Director, Otsuka Pharma GmbH, Frankfurt from 2005 to 2016, and worked in the Psychiatry and Psychotherapy and Neurology departments at the Heinrich-Heine University, Duesseldorf, Germany from 1998 to 2005. Dr. Werner is a specialist in psychiatry and psychotherapy, health economist (ebs) and earned his medical degree from Heinrich-Heine University, Duesseldorf, Germany.
